郭焯莹是晚清著名外交家郭嵩焘之子,他一生致力于楚辞研究,著有《读骚大例》一卷,敢发前人所未发之论,对《楚辞》有颇多独特见解。但长期以来学术界对这部著作关注不够,且对其作者所知甚少。《读骚大例》檃括郭氏楚辞研究之六例,对以《离骚》为主的《楚辞》作品进行了较全面、系统的分析。其充满学术个性的研究方法可总结为三点:史学视角与索隐考证;朴学特色与音韵训诂;依经解《骚》与"一经六传"之说。《读骚大例》不仅具有鲜明的时代特色,也体现了郭焯莹独特的学术见解,对楚辞学的影响不容忽视。
Abstract：Guo Zhuoying is the son of Guo Songtao who was a famous diplomat in the late Qing Dynasty. He devoted to Chu Ci research throughout his life. His Du Sao Da Li dare to send the theory of the former and has a lot of unique insights about Chu Ci. But Guo Zhuoying and his Du Sao Da Li are unfamiliar in academia for a long time. Du Sao Da Li introduces six ways to the study of Chu Ci, carrys out the comprehensive and systematic analysis about Chu Ci. It has three features: of history and inference research; philology feature and phonological gloss; base on the studies of Confucian classics to analyze "Sao" and "Yi Jing Liu Zhuan". Du Sao Da Li not only has the characteristics of the times, but also reflects Guo Zhuoying's unique academic views. It's influence on Chu Ci can not be ignored.
