预设是语言学界研究得较多的问题。语义预设通常与逻辑学联系起来,研究语句的真值情况。语用预设通常与说话者、话语、命题及语境联系起来研究,语用预设是那些与语境敏感,而且与发话人的信念、态度、意图有关的前提关系。预设是一种语用现象,并且将语义预设包括在内,两者是兼容的,互不抵触的。

Presupposition is greatly researched in the field of linguistics. Combined with logic, semantic presupposition studies truth value of a sentence. Pragmatic presupposition studies the presupposition which relates to the belief, attitude and purpose of the speaker. It usually relates to speaker, utterance, proposition and context. The relationship between semantic presupposition and pragmatic presupposition is controversial. In my opinion, it is a pragmatic phenomenon. Pragmatic presupposition includes semantic presupposition.
